Advantages: Sleek Design

Disadvantages: Only tkaes .jar

The Nokia 6300 is quite a simple phone to use and has a good amount of compatibility and features.

The phone come in black and silver or pure black, it also has a silver tin back, which scratches very easily and make quite a bit of noise if knocked.

Also on the back is the momophonic loud speaker, which it about 1.5cm² made up of 9 small holes. There is also the 2 Mega pixel camera which is good enough to view on the phone and also increase in size quite a bit, to fit you PC.

The phone is quite a sleek design and nice and small, with a large screen taking about 50% of the front up, above the screen is the speaker and below the main navigation buttons and below that the number keypad, but these buttons leave no gap between each other so if you have large finger you may press more than one key at a time. These all light up blue apart from the red and green button.

When using the phone to talk normally its not very comphatable on your ear and for me hard to decide wheaher to have the corner tucked inside my ear or the whole things flat on my whole ear.

On the side are blue light, one on each, which you can set to flash for notifications on the phone.

On the right hand side is the one long button which works as two for the volume.

The phone has a bit of a shoddy and mesy media player but it works, the phone also works with .jar files, so thats what you need to add games and things.

The memory card goes under the tin back at the side and copes with upto 2GB. I have compressed movie into 3GP files and they work on my 6300.

This phone is also compatable with themes, so you phone can be personlised.

I think this phone is a good phone for: music, radio, home photos, .jar games, and general phone usage. But not good quality movies or web browsing.

Generally this phone cost about £120, but obvisiouly you can find cheaper and all sorts of deals.

Summary: Good sleek phone with a good design
