Advantages: Easy to use, aesthetically 'cute'

This phone has been my faithful companion for the last year, letting me down on very few occasions. Its slimline design doesn't compromise how sturdy a phone it is, having being dropped over and over again, and survived a thorough soaking after an incident in a bag with a leaking water bottle!

The large screen makings this phone easy to use, and as a secondary career, a handy torch! The buttons are a handy size, neither too big nor too small. The snazzy feature of flashing blue side lights when you've received a message or missed call are aesthetically pleasing as well as useful if you've not glanced at your screen in a while. Sound quality has been more than satisfactory, though post-water bottle incident I did get screached at by the speaker on one occasion, and have read that this has happened to others.

The camera isn't the best quality but totally adequate for general fun snaps, and the video feature is handy for those not-to-be-missed moments on the move.

The downsides of this phone are mainly self-inflicted due to lack of care/the introduction of water (and have to say I was mighty impressed at how well it worked after that incident), but prior to this there was the odd time the phone would freeze or reset itself. This seemed to be a common problem from my research at the time, and a software upgrade seemed to do the trick. I also had problems with it refusing to recognise the memory card towards the ends of its days, which I had also read about in other reviews, but in this instance it may be related to the water incident.

Overall it's a cute little phone that is perfectly up to the job of phone calls and serving a textaholic.
