Advantages: Easy to use
Disadvantages: Not many gadgets or applications
The nokia 6300 is quite a good all round phone especialy if your not after one that does everything except make a cup of tea or is a fashion accessory more than a phone!
The one problem I found to begin with was the menu lay out and the time it took for each folder to open to then find what I was looking for wasn't in that folder and have to start the process again. Once I had this sorted it was great and very easy to navigate to where I wanted to be. As with most phone nowadays the middle keys can be programmed so that for example pressing down opens up the contacts section or new text message etc.
The sound quality on the speaker is OK and I do find myself turning it up or down depending on who I'm speaking to and where I am at the time which is the same as any other phone.
The camera is easy enough to use but is only 2 mega pixels so not brilliant but then again it is a phone not a camera!!
I find this phone very easy to use and practical as a phone but if you are after something with loads of applications or gadgets then I would suggest searching around for something else.
Summary: Good phone but not for you if you want it to make a cup of tea
