Excellent lower end phone

Advantages: Very easy to use
Disadvantages: Deletes messages while writing them for no reason
I chose the Nokia 6300 when I changed my mobile phone contract as I have always found Nokia phones reliable. On the whole I have not been disappointed. The phone is extremely robust (I drop it on a regular basis and have had no problems from this!) and easy to use. The main screen is particularly useful as it is customisable and allows short-cuts to your most used applications. It also displays the calendar on the front so you can see your appointments for the day without having to open up your calendar.
Battery life is excellent. I never turn my phone off and the battery lasts around 3 days before it needs charging - this is after a years use. The battery also charges very quickly.
The camera, mp3 player and radio are all adequate but not the best features of the phone. In low light the camera produces grainy photos which are usually tinted green, so it's not brilliant on a night out. Otherwise, though, it is great for quick snapshots and sending photos to friends.
The only problem I have had is that when I am writing a text message the phone often deletes everything I have written. I have not managed to figure out what triggers this and the Nokia representative I spoke to said it was possibly because I am writing too quickly for the phone. Though this seems like a minor problem for someone who sends so many texts it is incredibly frustrating. However if you tend to send fewer texts the phone is very good and definitely worth considering.
Summary: Excellent phone unless you are a heavy texter.
