If you want a good basic phone but with a little charm .. this is for you!

This is a geat little phone that packs a punch in looks and performance ... without being too fussy and confusing the user with options they would never use.

The look of the Nokia 6301 is a classic stylish design that looks great even though its now a few years old. The phone is made out of metal and wears quite well compared to a lot of phones that scratch easily ... there is however no cover for the camera so this can be scratched fairly easily. The button layout of the phone is kept simple and for someone with large hands like me there is no problem tying messages. The 2inch display is bright and far from pixalated and shows up pictures captured with the 2mp camera quite nicely, although with a lack of camera flash the camerea is limited.

Battery life is good as with most basic nokias and should last a good three days with one charge. Sound quality is decent and there is a good chocie of tones for users who like to change theri ringtones all the time.

The software is the basic easy to navigate nokia design which you cant really go wrong with .. it offers all the options really needed i.e mp3, radio, games and address book options without adding useless applications.

This is a great phone which should serve well and will not be outdated in a month or two from purchase.
