If you are looking for a mobile phone for texting and making phone calls you can't go wrong with the Nokia 6301, I have been using this model for a work phone for the last two years and I have had no problems with it. The operating system and menus are user friendly and easy to navigate, the colour screen is respectable and the design is sleek, but it does not feel like it would fall apart if you dropped it (which I have to admit I have done on a number of occasions). The camera was also a useful extra for taking quick snaps if a digital camera is not available, although no flash does mean it does not work overly well in the dark.

The other feature MP3 and radio are rather wasted on the model as small handset memory mean that attempting to add media is a pointless task although extra storage space can be added through an SD card.
