Nokia 6303i classic
Advantages: Very robust and easy to use, long battery life
I owned this phone for over a year and I had absolutely no problems with it. It was very easy to use and the thing that I liked most about it was the long battery life. Officially it has 500 hours worth battery standby standby time and 8 hours worth of talk-time which I would probably agree with. None of my previous phones had such a reliable battery.
It also has a 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus as well as the ability to take video clips at 15 frames/second. I used the camera quite a lot and even though the images weren't magnificent, it got the job done for moments when I wanted to take a picture of text etc.. The display is a decent 2.2 inches with 16.7 million colours, making it very comfy to read and type - the size of the phone is 10.9cmx4.6cmx1.2cm. Additionally it has the loudspeaker function, a music player, radio, voice commands, mp3 ringtones, ability to send emails, vibration alert, and a very handy calendar. The phone has an internal memory of 55mb with a maximum capacity of 8GB obtained by using a microSD card inside at the side of the phone - it comes with a 2GB microSD card. I never actually listened to music with this phone since I have an mp3 player, but I wanted to point out that this phone has a handy 3.5mm headphone jack meaning you can plug in all the standard headphones.
The games included are: Bounce Tales, Brain Champion, Sudoku, Tower Bloxx/City Bloxx, Highroller Casino, Block'd, Diamond Rush, and Rally Stars.
The phone is also quite light at 96g. The back of the phone is metal and despite suffering a few drops, the phone has remained very robust. It's comfy to carry in jean pockets and I've never had to use any additional protection such as pouches to carry the phone around. The phone also has very nice rounded edges making it extremely comfortable to hold and carry. This phone is great for all the basics but it isn't a smartphone and it is not comfy at all for connecting to the internet and more complicated tasks, there is also no video calling available since it does not have 3G. The sound quality is fairly good. I really don't have complaints about this phone since the phone is inexpensive. Please bear in mind that I would give this phone 4.5 stars GIVEN the price bracket and that I purchased it with only the basic functions in mind.
Summary: A very good basic phone that will last a long time - extremely reliable!
