Advantages: Easy to use, Great functionality, Fabulous battery life
Disadvantages: Maybe too logn, No flashy lights, No mesmeric sounds
The 6310i is an incredibly good phone. Its not a toy phone, its not made by Fisher Price or Tomy, its a real, sturdy business phone from the ever popular Nokia 6-series range. The phone itself has a supreme set of functions including automatic switching tri-band functionality, bluetooth, GPRS, java games and....... an alarm clock. Yeeeehooooo It does lack certain modern features like camera, polyphonic ringtones or video phone. But looking at it objectivly, do you need a camera on your phone? How would you feel if your on a bus journey sitting next to a lady you'd quite like to get to know better - and bang, in a flash, the latest rendition of the funky hip-hop style Eastenders theme jumps out on you. My advice, get off at the next stop. As always - the menu system is second to no other, it is superb. I've used most other makes of handset (Motorola, Ericsson, Samsung, Sony, Sagem etc) and no others even come close to the ease of use and just completly functionality. As for battery life, I only need to charge mine every 4-6 days and it use it several times daily and its never swtiched off The phone can store 500 numbers on it which is more than enough for the average social deviant. It has predictive text, it comes with the Nokia 6310i special software - but not with a data cable, this is purchased seperatly. I've used the phone as a modem connected to my laptop and it works really well, much more reliable than previous Nokia models. Overall this phone is good, I like it a lot. If I wanted a spanky super dooper toy-phone I'd go out and pay £400 and get the latest model, but if your looking for a lightweight, reliable, useful and actually quite nice looking phone (you can choose between Silver or Gold) then go for this baby, its got a good year left in it yet before it's shelved only to be replaced with the afformentioned Fisher Price alternative with lots of flashing lights and groovy sounds.
