6600 Slide (Nokia 6600 Slide)
Member Name: danball
Advantages: Attractive Looking Phone, Decent Features Disadvantages: Slow Internet Speeds. Now, Nokia phones are, in my opinion, the best on the market. Reliable, easy to use and sturdy. The three things anyone wants from the mobile phone. So I will base my review on these three things. Firstly, reliability. I've not had this phone for very long but so far, so good. I've not had any problems making or receiving calls or text messages. This is easy to use, the tried and tested Nokia menu system in use here is as simple as its always been. You know where you are with the Nokia Menus. Sturdiness. Well, this phone feels ok but I'm far from convinced that it will last the duration of my contract (18 months). Its not that it feels flimsy, its just that Some of the parts (most notably the fascia) move slightly when they clearly should not do. The slide feels ok, its smooth but the phone feels its weakest when the slide is open and they keypad is revealed. The major issue I have with this phone is the internet browsing, even in comparison with other phones, this is slow. The display can be dificult to read and the pages are sometimes difficult to navigate. Other than that, its a very good phone. Summary: Nice phone but some issues needs to be sorted by Nokia.
