Advantages: Great looking, good features and the maps area an added bonus
Disadvantages: Not quite the battery life that Nokia claim
I love this phone. I've had it for 4 months now and I would recommend it to everyone. Starting with the look, it's sleek, good looking and simple. It has a feeling of good quality, even down to the fact that the battery cover on the rear is a proper metal cover rather than the often flimsy and tacky plastic. The phone is a little heavier than you would expect but this actually adds to the overall quality feel of the phone.
Functions wise, all the usual stuff is here, the camera is good (although I have to confess to never really using it) and the video function is useful. The radio is good quality and the car/radio receiver kit is of a good sound quality and comfortable to use, only downside being the microphone/volume control unit is a bit on the big side! The mp3 player is useful, but again I don't use it often as I have an ipod.
Mine (on the 3 network) came with lots of games but they are all short trial versions which you then have to purchase the full game if you want to keep playing. It also has a calendar, reminder/to do list (which I use all the time and are great), notes, alarm clock, calculator and stop watch/countdown timer.
The function that I really love about the phone is the maps section, basically it comes ready loaded with UK maps and you can then go to the Nokia website and download other continents for free! You can also get directions and plan routes and if you buy a GPS attachment can turn it into a 'by foot' or 'by car' sat-nav!
The only downsides I can mention are the finish of the phone body is very sleek and attracts grease, finger marks etc very easily. The other thing to mention is that battery life doesn't quite appear to live up to Nokia's claims and mine didn't come with the software needed to connect it to the computer, I contacted Nokia who told me I just needed to download Nokia Suite which I did and it worked perfectly!
Overall I would definitely recommend this phone; it's a lovely looking item, good size and packed with useful functions and some interesting extras!
Summary: If you have the chance to get this phone, do, I did and don't regret it at all!
