I obtained a nokia 6600 in June of 2004 when i received the phone i was over the moon as i had always wanted one, due to its nice design and because people telling me how great the phone was. I can honestly say i was not disappointed.

When you first get the phone you find you have a MMC card which is a memory card, this is put into the back of the phone in the same area the SIM card is put. The allows JAVA games, contacts, pictures, text messages, diary entries and ringtones to be saved which allows the phone to store a lot more of your favourite things. The internal memory of the phone is 6Mb and holds a lot of information too.

The picture quality is great, the 65,536 colour display with the 176 x 208 pixels gives you a clear and accurate picture.

There is a Joystick on the front of the phone which is a 5 way navigation joystick which allows the user to play games properly rather than using your keypad however this is an option too.

I have heard this phone being described as a PDA like phone, i have to agree the layout of the phone menu is very like a PDA and is very easy to get around. It is a bit different when you first turn it on as its unlike any other phone on the market.

You have the option of changing your themes on the phone and downloading other themes. This can range from your favourite TV programme to your favourite cartoon character. This changes your icons to your different menus and changes the main picture on your screen.

Bluetooth technology is a great way of transferring information from phone to phone or even from your computer to your handset. If you have a favourite picture at home that you would like on your phone, all you would have to do is scan it into your computer and bluetooth it over to your handset, its very easy and very useful.

All in all i can honestly say this phone has it all, its great fun and has a great design. If your interested in the smart phone or PDA's i would say get it you won't regret it
