Still waiting for a better phone to come along (Nokia 6600)

Advantages: Big screen, good quality camera, very easy to use.

Like other reviewers, I've had this phone for a while now, and although it's really about time I upgraded, I haven't seen anything yet to make me trade in my 6600.

1Mp camera, video, Bluetooth, infra red data connection, organiser, wap browser...the 6600 has pretty much everything you would expect. The screen is large and bright, and it has a true PDA-style interface (folders, menus, etc.). It's great for playing games, and it takes standard MMC memory cards so that you can easily expand to 256Mb or above. Useful if you're particularly snap-happy with the excellent built-in camera.

Of course, it is starting to show it's age in some respects, especially with the newer multimedia-focused phones arriving on the market. There's no radio and song playback is pretty ropey. Lots of reviews comment on the size and weight, and yes it is a fairly substantial phone, but personally I quite like the fact it feels a good solid piece of kit, and when you see it in the flesh, it's really not that large - it still easily fits into my jeans pocket without looking too dodgy...

Having had this phone for so long, I can vouch for it's reliability. I've never had a problem with it, and I'm still getting plenty of life out of the original battery.

My next phone will probably have to be a Nokia N70/N90N91 - there aren't many phones out there that currently offer a lot more than my trusty old 6600.

Summary: Even 18 months after getting it, it's still a great phone
