Working for a mobile phone company, i used to change my phone ever 3 months just for the sake of it.
Once i got the 6680 18 months ago, i've not changed again, simply due to the phone doing what i require.
Good enough camera, great internet access capable for surfing ebay and hotmail.

Enough memory being able to hold your latest MP3 songs, MPG video files and JPG photo's.
Bluetooth, for your headset, or just to transfer data to your friend's phones.

Dual calls, you can make two calls, at once, which is great when your on a long call, and either you have an incoming call to answer (puts the first caller on hold) or you have forgot to book the restaurant for tonight.
Cheap, you can now pick one of these up for around £50, which is great for a phone with these functions.

2 way video calls, with 2 cameras, one for taking your videos and pics, and one on the front for your video calls, or just to admire yourself.
Ok, so its not the New best thing, but its value for money, it texts, has two cameras, takes decent photo's and videos and can make and receive the calls.

Summary: No need to spend £££'s when this dated phone still offers fantastic features
