When flipped into the QWERTY mode (the picture turns sideways to enable you to read your text) the buttons do click and I find this a much easier way to text. Following a brief encounter with a Sharp mobile phone a further upgrade of my handset led me into contact with the Nokia 6820. My phone was free as an upgrade, however on a pay as you go tariff prices can range to in excess of £100. My main attraction to the phone was the fact that it was available free as an upgrade, the way it looked, the QWERTY keyboard and the actual look. Not only does the 6820 have a colour screen which provides very good picture quality, it has a video recorder, voice recorder and a number of screen animations and screensavers which appeal to my inner child. The Nokia 6820 was designed with text messaging in mind. The phone looks ordinary on first appearance but you can flip open a keyboard that you can type each letter into your text intead of having to type using the conventional way. This is great for people who are business users and hardly know much about texting or those people who want to show off within a spilt second. Since it was only designed for business use, the phone has its disadvantages of not including an FM radio or data cable. I feel that this is ok but not if you are buying it...
