Advantages: Nice looking, useful features, lighter than other similar sized phones
Disadvantages: Heading towards a computer- with the problem of crashing!!
Well yes it has a number of useful functions. Has a groovy "Matrix" slide mechanism . However having used the Nokia 7110 for a couple of months there are a few hitches. The 7110 is very computer-like, this means that yes it has lots of useful features and doesn't have memory problems with your hundreds of text messages. However just like a computer the 7110 is perfectly capable of crashing and does on a regular basis if you ask a lot of it. WAP capability is fine, the navi roller makes it relatively easy to use. However using WAP can also leave you with a blank screen for no apparent reason. This can be cured by turning phone on and off (effectively re-booting!). Tends to happen most frequently when you start changing the WAP settings (for example I took Breathe up on their WAP offer). Realised that to start using the thing after settings were put in I had to re-boot the phone, before the settings became active. However now I have established this and don't fiddle with the WAP settings too often, my phone hasn't given me much hassle lately. However a point to note for all you laptop users, the infra red is great in the sense it seems nifty. In reality downloading email is at a similar speed to watching paint dry, surfing the net using more thn one window ought to be avoided unless you have lots of spare time! On saying that as an email junkie, the wait is probably worth it!
