The Nokia 7110 - some people think of it as the stylish phone flaunted in the matrix (This was actually a different model), others may consider it as just another annoying, infuriating, exasperating mobile phone that goes off in meetings and at the theater to your annoyance.
As phones go I feel this is still up to modern day standards, although it is around four years old, this phone still hosts numerous features that are considered to be the biggest attraction to mobiles today. The most prominent of these is WAP - this is basically a sort of interactive teletext for when your on the go, if you add a genie sim card it's free. Quite a wonderous feeling when you buy a car through your phone, but apparantly it can be done. I know from first hand experience the 7110 is in fact one of the least annoying phones on the market, this is some acheivement, as mobile phones are now viewed as a neccessary rather than an accessory.
I wouldn't go as far as to say that the 7110 is the best phone ever, but it's amazingly original roller function, and unique games, the Nokia 7110 was ahead of it's time, the phones that are being released now are gradually getting better, the 7110 was unique, the slide was cool, it was ahead of it's time, but no longer is.
