I have just replaced my Trium Geo with a Nokia 7110 on BTCellnet Pay As You Go. I have to say that it is much better. It has a large easy to read display and I found it easy to use and easy to set up (without reading the manual). I especially like the way you can store more than one number per person in the phone book, much easier than having two ... Read the complete review

this is another phone which i have used in the past, and i must say, i was most impressed, not just by its looks, but also by its features and its functionality. once connected to the internet, which took about 5 minutes to load up the first time, i was hooked, and it proved an invaluable resource to me, especially for cheating in exams (who ... This must be one of the most stylish wap phones available. The nokia 7110 is amazing. With all the features of the 3210 and more, this makes the phone one of the best nokia phones available on the market. It looks fab. It is a 2-tone colour with reflects in different light and has a big screen. The slide down feature is a posers dream. All ... Read the complete review

Is that a Matrix phone? Is what they all say... I usually answer yes, but in actual fact the phone used in Matrix was a modified 8110 never actually used in the American market and the 7110 we have over here has been modified in the states to remove the spring loaded mouthpiece... just some trivia for you! I got my 7110 about 15 months ... Read the complete review

** Update at the end ** This one had the background guys at Orange flapping with excitement when it was first received for testing from Nokia, not only was it the first ever WAP enabled handset but it was also a pretty revolutionary design in to the bargain. First off though there was the race with certain other networks to ... Read the complete review

Well yes it has a number of useful functions. Has a groovy "Matrix" slide mechanism . However having used the Nokia 7110 for a couple of months there are a few hitches. The 7110 is very computer-like, this means that yes it has lots of useful features and doesn't have memory problems with your hundreds of text messages. ... Read the complete review

Whilst friends and colleagues were shelling out their hard earned cash and extolling the virtues of WAP phones I kept quiet, perfectly content with my cheap rate phone and its basic features. Recently, though, I came across an offer that let me get hold of a 7110 for free provided I signed up to a years contract. I'm on the Orange ... Read the complete review

Having now had my Nokia 7110 for 6 months I can thoroughly recommended it to anybody. I prefer myself to have it on Orange Everyday 50 and the two products are made for each other. Its free on a contracts. Nokia has the best & easiest menu system, screen display, and reception quality of all phones. It has all the standard ... Read the complete review

I bought this phone to replace an old NEC phone on an existing contract. The phone has an upgrade cost of £80 on a one-2-one contract in the UK, but as I had an £80 allowance (high bills, always paid on time), it cost me nothing. This phone is WAP enabled, and has an infra-red port for easy data connection. It is easy and convenient to ... Read the complete review

I have had almost every single phone under the sun, i started of with a crap Motorola and have gradually gone up in the world of phones. Just recently i purchased the Nokia 7110 on the vodaphone tariff, it is purely brilliant, i have absolutely no idea how i lived without this incredible piece of technology. The Nokia 7110 is certainly a good looking phone, and when i first got my hands on it i could not stop playing with the sliding front panel. Novelty aside the big screen on the phone is definitely a plus when using the Wap services, the colour of the phone is nice, and looks like different colours in different lights. The phone can store ... Read the complete review

The first WAP (Wireless Application Protocol - text-based web content) phone to be available in the UK, the Nokia 7110 is one of a long line of commercially successful and critically acclaimed phones that have come from the Finnish company. It certainly looks good but what's it like to use? As with all Nokias, the 7110 sports ... Read the complete review

I first bought my Nokia 7110 back in May 2000, when it was a fairly new phone and not one you'd see every day - they were only being offered on contract at that time. For the first month it worked just fine, and i have to say I was very impressed with the phone itself. It has many useful features such as a large phonebook, easy to read screen ... I purchased this phone about 6 months ago, and generally am very impressed with it. Looks wise, it does the trick, with a colour changing fascia, and - thanks to the Matrix film! - nifty sliding face cover. Functionally, the phone excels also, with 1000 name memory and also the ability to associate multiple numbers to one name ... Read the complete review

Oh its great, Snake 2, really gets you going on a thursday afternoon. The snake, now has a skin pattern. It's quiet superb. Snake 2 is the only reason to buy this phone, never mind the wap technology, the huge phone book, the huge storage of messages. The possibilitys are endless with this little beast. I gave in this month and got a WAP Internet mobile phone. I am now technically "wapped up" (a phrase I hope won't catch on). My geekier friends are impressed when I pull it from my shoulder holster like the LAPD. And I can be pleased that this one new technology the Americans do not dominate. Hah. Problem is, though, WAP ... Read the complete review

Well, the 7110 is a good looking piece of kit, its big with some funky touches - the snap down cover for example, but it has its flaws. I can't fault the basics, call clarity and reception, but the battery life falls quite a way short of nokias claims, I'd say two days and about half an hours calls are your maximum, but that ... WAP technology is relatively new, and this mobile was specifically designed to cater for that. This mobile is currently the most expensive of the Internet-capable phones, weighing in at around £100, although this varies according to network provider, and where you purchase your mobile! Well, again, Nokia have come up with a lightweight, ... Read the complete review
