OK, well I am gonna be brutally honest with you from the start. I am a mobile phone fanatic! I use my phone for everything. You name it, I will use it. Whatever phone I have I will utilise it to the utmost capacity, therefore, I feel I am in an excellent position to review the performance of the Nokia 7210.
Nokia are without doubt the kings of mobile manufacturers as far as I'm concerned. I have been loyal to them since I bought my first mobile phone about 3 years ago. One of their latest creations is the 7210. In my opinion, this phone is a quite superb piece of technology and dare I say it - a damn good phone!
The first and of course most important aspect of this phone is that it's all in colour which I can assure you makes a huge difference. This was my main reason for choosing this phone and it certainly hasn't disappointed me in anyway on that score.
The phone's display settings are awesome allowing you to alter the brightness and colour of the screen as well as the options to change your wallpaper or even turn off your operator logo! The ringtones are polyphonic and therefore have a superior sound quality. Any tone you wish for can be downloaded from a huge selection of wap sites accessible via the phone itself. This also applies to games, utility applications, and graphics.
This phone has the capacity to store up to 300 names and numbers in it's phonebook and up to 250 on the SIM card. Once stored, you can then personalise your entries by using group titles, ringing tones and logos for specific groups of callers.
The phone has additional features which include a fab radio (really loud & clear), a calendar & "to do list", excellent text message & e-mail sending facilities, a handsfree speaker option and a gallery enabling you to view ringtones and graphics in specific folders.
I also love the fact that you can plug this phone in to your home PC with a USB cable an
d download all manner of things off the internet!
I could go on and on all day about the advantages of this phone. I must however point out the one minor weakness of it and that is it's memory and storage capacity. Everything on the phone e.g. graphics, messages, games and ringtones etc are all part of the phone's shared memory. Therefore, if you have a lot of saved pictures, it cuts down the phone's ability to save anything else. If you're a games fan and have downloaded a couple of files off wap, storage of applications for example will decrease as a result.
The only consolation is that storage space in total is good allowing for a fair number of files in each folder. Oh I almost forgot! The look of the phone itself is stylish to say the least and you can change the fascia to a whole range of colours and designs. This phone also has an MMS facility and an attachable camera unit which you can purchase separately from the usual suppliers.
I would definitely recommend this phone to anyone without hesitation. If you're looking for a mobile that's got everything, look no further than the 7210. Buy it now and enjoy!
