Advantages: easy to use, great to look at, loads of features and functions
Disadvantages: no built in camera, keys are fidly to use
What a phone this is! I first saw it on the side of a red bus in London about a year and a half ago and knew from that moment that this was something I had to have ? a landmark in linking of function and fashion. The first thing which caught my eye on this advert was the stylish colours and smooth contours of this model. And having bought it that Christmas, it is still something which I regard very highly. This phone LOOKS GREAT and feels great to operate. There are a whole host of accessories available, from cool fascias to attachable cameras. This phone has everything available that you could want. Also, yet again Nokia has demonstrated how its programming rises above all other makers. The simplicity of this phone is unrivalled and with the four-way button it couldn?t be any easier to write messages or set an appointment in your diary. Talking of diary ? there are a whole host of features and functions which give this phone even better performance. Whether it is the FM radio or loudspeaker function, this phone has pretty much everything you could need. As well as this there is a great range of java games and polyphonic ring tones to download from the internet (that?s if you need to. This phone comes with quite a selection of both). Another advantage is that you can purchase a connectivity cable and syncnorize the phone with your computer, including transfer your own pictures to the phone ? which I a brilliant facility!! However, as with everything there are down sides. The keys are very small and fiddly until you get a bit more used to them, and it can be quite tiresome when your trying to write out a long message or email. The accessories I spoke of before are very highly priced ? a genuine Nokia cover can set you back about £25 ? which is an exorbitant price considering what you have to pay for it in the first place. Finally, this model does not have an inbuilt camera. Although you can
buy a separate camera headset which plugs into the bottom, I found this an immense hassle and gave up after a while. In general I would recommend this mobile to anyone, but if you?ve got the cash to spare I would have a look at the next model up ? the 7250, which is just as stylish and useful, but with the built in camera. Overall a great mobile!!

- 28/05/04 Blimey. A landmark linking of function and fashion, eh? I feel so old with my ancient housebrick of a mobile! |

- 27/05/04 Pity about the camera bit. But maybe I will go for the newer model then. Great review, just going to look at a few more of yours. |
