Disadvantages: Memory that it.!!!!

Nokia have always tried, most of the time very successfully, to come up with handsets that have totally new designs. This time Nokia have taken a step into the time warp and gone back to the 1920’s and come up with three very different mobile phones. The Nokia 7260 is one of the products, and as you can see it has a totally new design. It’s still in the same candy bar format but the aesthetics of the handset are very eye pleasing.


THE DISPLAY AND CAMERA.
Nokia 7260 comes up with 65,536 colors within 128 x 128 pixels,the operating system is SERIES 40 but it is upgraded with Soul refreshing Themes and Colour-schemes.The Camera Takes Photos with a resolution of 640x480,the Pictures are quite good. A 4x zoom is also offered to get up close and personal with your subject, and a self-timer for portrait shots.It also record Videos,but only upto 15 seconds.The clips are saved in 3GPP format, and can be sent to a computer or e-mail address with the press of a button. The zoom function is accessible in the video mode also.It also has night mode.

THE BUILD QUALITY AND KEYPAD.
Like all Nokias,The Build quality is good,the Phone is almost made of Plastic,the Cover(outer panel)looks very sexy.The Keypad though looks tough to operate,but after using it for 2-3 days you will get use to it.(as i was).The keys are soft and easy to use.When you turn the Phone,on the back side you will find Silver lines,they also look stylish.
BUILD QUALITY:9/10.

THE MEMORY,SOUND OUTPUT AND THEMES
Nokia 7260 has about 1 MB Memory,and sadly it doesnt have memory card Option(NOKIA should have atleast given us 10-20 MB memory).The sound output is 72 cc,and it sounds good and it is enough as when you dont have MP3 PLAYER.The Themes are very good,the best of Series 40 phones.They are Quite Stylish and we havent seen them in any other phone.

CONNE CTIVITY
Nokia 7260 provides good Connectivity features,it has Integrated infrared, HSCSD and EGPRS,GPRS,xHTML browser.It doesnt have BLUETOOTH but at this price you cant expect it also. With Infrared we can tranfer Wallpapers and Applications but the Memory is too low to do anything.
CONNECTIVITY:9/10.

OTHER FEATURES:
1.Preinstalled games (Glamour Pinball and Backgammon)
Preinstalled utility applications (clothes and shoe size converter, World Clock II, Converter II)
Downloadable more games, personal applications and themes (wallpaper, screensaver, ringing tone) via Over-The-Air Java.

On the whole,Nokia 7260 is a good phone in its class,it is about 12,000 Indian rupees.Though they are some Flaws,but they cant overshade the Enjoyment of using it.It will appeal to people who want a different phone not at higher price.
