I have mixed feelings about this phone...I was so excited when I got it - it's absolutely beautiful, and nokia chucked in a LOAD of lovely extras, the headphones that came with it were patterned to match the phone, and the charms and little velvet pouch were greatly appreciated. Also it's a real treat the first time you swivel it open and realise that the back of the screen segment has a beautiful design embellished into the metal there. I'm very familiar with nokias and so found the interface very intuitive, I got great reception and no real problems while using the phone.
The camera was a bit of a let down - the pictures it takes are fine but I think they could (and should) be better. The battery life is good - better than a lot of modern phones. There's not a lot of space on the phone but mine came with a 512mb micro sd card so that was fine. The front facings, while beatiful, get scratched really easily, and the big gold centre 'select' button on the keypad broke off within a few weeks, leaving me stuck pressing the exposed rubber under key (I could have glued a replacement on...but to be honest it didn't bother me too much). It also doesn't swivel all the way round, which was a bit of a disappointment (although obviously it doesn't really matter), you can open it to the left or the right but once it locks into to open position you have to close it in the same direction you opened it.
Modern technology especially phones are not realy my speciality but i brought this phone purely because it is pink and have spent weeks saying i didnt know it did that or how did you make it do that to my hubby and my daughters.
The only confusing part about this phone for me was the on off button, i put my sim card in, the battery on then couldnt find the on off button, it turned out to be a tiny little button on the side of the phone.
I am pleased with the screen on this phone as it is quite large and very clear, photos look lovely on it but i dont think the camera is as good as my moterola was.
The call buttons confused me a little too to start with, there isnt a green and red phone just a line with a line below it to make a call and a line with a line above it to end a call which took some getting used to.
You have got multimedia messages on this phone but i am yet to find anyone else with a phone capable of recieving them.
It has also got flash messages but i dont realy see the point of these
You can use the internet and email with it but it is very slow compared to my computer
The phone book is strange you can save the name, number, other numbers, birthdays and adresses in here, i was under the impression i had brought a new phone not an address book.
The tones you get with the phone are rubbish so i blootoothed my old tones to the phone,
I got sudoko on my phone which i like so for me that was good but not if you dont like the game although there is a lot of storage space as i have stored 4 other games on my phone too
It has also got a radio on it and a music player where you can store your own music but i havent used this realy, just tried it once to see what it was.
Oh yes and to my surprise it also does what i wanted it for it makes calls,
sorry the review is so rubbish, i know nothig about technology but this phone must be easy to use as my 5 year old daughter plays the games and music on it all the time.
It came with a little pouch to put it in which i use when it is in my bag to stop the screen getting scratched and 3 dangley tassel things which just get in the way most of the time.
You also get a set of earphones with it.
