Advantages: Ummmmm....., Unusual so you'd look cool, errrrrrrr.

Disadvantages: Fuzzy pictures, Contant breaking down, Uncompatible with new pc

After having two of this type of mobile phone on contract i would like to state that i firmly believe there is a problem with the phone manufacture.
As far as features go, i believe it to be one of the most universal phones there is, what with its camera, video camera, mp3 player, games, utilities and ability to completely change every part of the setting to suit yourself, it is the phone that i would love. However, on closer inspection of this rather large and awkward shaped phone you will find that it has many flaws.
The camera itself takes very fuzzy and poor quality photos that some times appear "blocky", also the video camera is "jumpy" and filming can be difficult because of where the viewfinder is situated. This feature on the phone i found to be mediocre after comparing with other phones with far better quality and placement.
The mp3 player requires you to download the music from your pc to your phone. Clever i thought, what a good idea. No, how wrong was i, the only pc i found that was compatible was an old small computer at our local library, newer computers will not support the phone. After finally downloading some songs onto the phone (2 songs) i found that if i listened to them they sounded as though they were in a fishbowl, and didn't have the quality i had come to expect from a new phone. Add to that the fact that these two song cannot be added to because of insufficient memory, you have yet another feature of the phone gone wrong. I had plenty of memory on my phone and still it told me INSUFFICIENT MEMORY.
Games, lets not talk about games... no better still lets talk about games, or lack of. The phone comes with 2 games, Backgammon and some warped version of the great old-time classic tetris. Both are complete crap and you'd get bored with them in seconds, not like the total addiction setting game "snake" we saw on our old nokia's, not clever and in colour no but boy didn't we get addicted. Furthermore to this, when you try to download games (as they told me in the shop i could) you cannot retrieve them because the phone dosnt support any other web other that three and although three has planty of sites where you can download wallpaper and ringtones, there are no games. Ahh and on to.........
Ringtones. You spend what...... £2 on a ringtone off three's interenet service (if that is what you can call it) and it sounds nothing like the song it is supposed to be. Waste of time and money. However the phone itself has the capability of turning your midi files (on your old computer not a new one) into plolyphonic ringtone for your phone. Great i thought... never seen that before and again i was wrong. After trying it with a few songs i found that once they had been transferred to your phone they lost all melody and was only the baseline. The actual tune you can hear on your midi file is lost. Pretty much sucked into the bermuda triangle never to be seen again.
Now i have had a rant about the feature on this phone lets discuss the bug that i have found. Both my partner and i had one of these phones each. Mine lasted 6 months in total. At about two months it had to be returned to the shop because the screen had died for no apparent reason. This was repaired then the other phone that i had kept turning itself onto head set so when calling out you could hear anything. The actual headset setup wasnt on the phone so i couldn't turn it off, this one was returned to be fixed at 3 months, then at six months the first one to break had to go back because it had died altogether and refused to charge. After the carephone warehouse had it for 2 months (that i still had to pay for) they wrote to me and told me the phone was beyond repair because of water damage. When questioned about this (since i knew my phone had been no where near water) they told me that moisture in the air could have caused it (cop out). After speaking with a friend who works in carphone warehouse i was told that a large mount of these phones had come back in because of the same problem. And then, as if to add insult to injury the other phone died and i was expected to pay contracts on both phones even though carphone warehouse would not replace mine. So to all people out there, whether you are planning to have one on contract or pay-as-you-go i will say this...NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Turn around, walk away and get a different phone. Save yourself time and money and stick with a bog standard mobile phone and then go out and buy your self a digital camerea a video camera an mp3 player and a gameboy. At least then if one breaks you wont be without the rest.
