Advantages: Digital Camera, Extra addons

Disadvantages: One 640x480 camera, Getting caught

As we all know Nokia are one of the most popular manufactures of mobiles, and many of their new gadgets appeal mainly towards the younger generation.

The new Nokia 7650 is a mobile phone with multimedia features and a digital camera built in. Of course it's the camera that everyone's talking about, especially the price!!

The keyboard pops out from under the vibrant colour screen and the built in digital camera has a 4 MB memory to save all your images, quite high compared to many digital cameras, which still only have 8 MB. It is also equipped with the latest features for fast Internet access, GPRS and Bluetooth.
Nokia are designing for people on the move with integrated hands free speaker and voice dialling, improved battery life lasting for up to almost 10 days.
Taking photos are simple using the colour display as the viewfinder and point and shoot. You can then add the picture to the phones memory or send to a friend. The pictures are reasonable quality if left small, viewed on another phone, but don?t expect to increase them to A4 size for printing.

The Java capability means that you can download games just as easily as downloading ringtones or graphics. As well as Java games, you can also download applications like personal assistants, travel and information tools. MMS means that you can send and receive multimedia messages containing text, MIDI audio files, and graphics or animations.

Warning

In the past you used to have to worry about your partner reading your text messages. Now be extra careful to delete any incriminating pictures from that night out on the town!

7650 Vs T68i
The Nokia 7650 competes with the Sony Ericsson T68i, and everyone will be asking, "Which is best?" Comparing features, the Nokia 7650 probably wins, with the benefit of Java applications and a more advanced user interface. It also has an integrated camera, whereas the T68i has a plug-in camera. But the
Nokia 7650 is a bit larger and heavier than the T68i, and has less battery life that the T68i. All things considered, there's no clear-cut winner - it's down to personal preference

Features of the Nokia 7650 include:
114 x 56 x 26 mm dimensions
Integrated digital camera (VGA, 640 x 480 pixels)
WAP 1.2.1 (GPRS), email
High Speed Data (HSCSD) - max 43.2 kilobits per second

Sounds good, but I'm still not convinced about the sliding front!

Nice op ;)

Can't see the use for the photo facility myself. Perhaps I'm old fashioned in just wanting a phone to talk to people (or not as the case may be!)

I'm one of those people who don't like to mnay gadgets integrated in to one. I think a camera should be a camera etc. I can't think for one minute who would need all these features, I wouldn't even know how to use them! excellent op all the same.
