A poor phone (Nokia 8210)

Advantages: It is a mobile phone. In other words it phones and sends text messages.. but only barely

Disadvantages: Poor quality, many flaws

I have to say that, may mum is not much of a techno-whizz like me. This phone in its self and on a basic front is quite good, it is small and compact making it perfect for smaller pockets or hand bags, but that said I think that that may be the only thing that is good about this phone.

I did not own this phone, my mum did and I was forever showing her how to do things, which as most people know, with a Nokia is pretty simple, but I just simply found this phone infuriating to use. The keys would stick and not come back up (this happened on my dad's too who also had the same phone for a while) and when the button did not come back up it would not allow you to press the next key you needed to. The general layout of the keypad too is rather poor, because of the phones small size this can make the phone unconfortable to use and those with normal sized fingers may struggle a little too. But I guess this point is down to personal preference.

Now onto my main gripe with the phone. Erm. The whole phone, I remember now, the phone is really the most shoddily made thing in the entire phone industry in my opinion apart from maybe the entire Motorola catalogue. The screen would cut out and the speak button on the side of the phone will stop working periodically. It has also been known to turn its self off. It is just a cheap phone. But I guess you get what you pay for and all you are looking for is a phone that you will use only occationally then it is fine but the infuriatingly small screen restricts the amount of character that can be viewed on it at once which only increases wear and tear on the keypad, especially the scroll up and down buttons.

Summary: Not recommended through having bad experiences with 2 of these phones
