Dont judge a phone by its cover (Nokia 8210)

I had wanted to buy this phone for quite a while. The main reason was its size. This phone is tiny and looks very nice! However, don't be fooled by its stylish design. If you are looking for a phone that you can actually use i would stay well away from the 8210. Almost every single person i have spoken to with the phone has had problems. It is true that if another 8210 user sees you in the street it is normally a good excuse for them to start talking to you so there is some kind of fellowship amongst users but this is because we all understand how annoying it is to own one.

The two main problems you get with an 8210 are with the screen and the signal. In the 6 months of owning one my signal cut out completely and i had to have major work done on it to put it right, the phone constantly switched itself off becuase of the battery not charging properly, text messages didn't send, reception was poor and the keys were difficult to use.

If you are lucky enough to have an 8210 that works perfectly, and thinner fingers than me you will find that it does have some good features. It can store 200 numbers on the phone (plus an average 100 on the sim card depending on your network). It has infa-red which can be used for two player gaming and sending data between phones and has the standard nokia games.

I would not recommend this to anyone though as it is the most unreliable electrical item ive ever used.
