Advantages: Size, aesthetically pleasing, can send and receive emails, music composer, chat facility, dual band

Disadvantages: As yet no major network has it available, no wap facility and its not tri-band

First glance the NK 8250 may be mistaken fro the coveted 8210. This phone is very similar and then some...

Firtly you will notice how the buttons are postioned, looks cool and agressive-a bit like the Chrysler Cruiser.

Like the 8890, the screen has a very cool blue backlight. The phone also enables the x-press on covers.

The menu features are typical of Nokia phones-why mess with perfection?

There are some additions though, and these are first in the 8000 series. Firstly, like the NK 3310 there is the ability to use Immediate Chat. You may also compose your own ringing tones which is only available in the 3000 series at the moment, and more importantly there is the ability of sending e-mails.

However, the biggest disappointment of the phone is that there is no WAP service which personally shocked me. The disadvantage is that its not a tri-band phone, bit I think we've all given up hope on Nokia producing one before the first wave of 3G phones.

Overall though the phone is excellent and another reason for why Nokia are the Manchester United of the mobile world.
