Advantages: Looks Good, Blue LEDs

Disadvantages: Expensive, Not much better than the 8210

Despite not being officially available to purchase in the UK there are many of these phones being sold on both Yahoo! Auctions and ebay but the main question is ....IS IT WORTH IT??? well if you already own an 8210 you will know that the size and functionality of the 8210 is very impressive but it is not worth the additional money for the Nokia 8250. Although it looks a lot better than the 8210 you can simply replace the LEDs in your Nokia 8210 and purchase a 8210 to 8250 conversion cover via Yahoo! Auctions or Ebay. The 8250 may have newer software installed than the 8210 but for the £150 extra I believe people can live with the old software on the 8210. If you do not own a Nokia 8210 and are wondering which Nokia phone to go for this phone may be an option to you but if money is a factor then stick with the cheaper, lighter (79g) Nokia 8210.

With newer Nokia phones emerging very quickly with more and more features I believe the 8250 should be missed. The 8310 is just 5 grams heavier than the 8250 and also has WAP capabilities and GPRS. The 8310 also has lots more memory and is generally an all round better choice so if you want to purchase an 8250 I would either save up for the 8310 or not bother.
