The Nokia 8310 was a mobile phone released in 2001. It is much smaller than previous Nokia models, at only about 10 cm in height and 3cm in width and lighter too at 84 grams. It has all the features of the previous Nokia phones - monochrome display, WAP internet, games (especially the Snowboarding game!) and vibration alerts.
Some new features the 8310 offered however, include infra-red, a calendar and FM radio. The colour scheme of the phone - blue and white - is much more attractive than the dull solid colours of previous models and the keypad is also backlit which is a nice touch.
A Nokia 8310 can be purchased quite cheaply online - you can find them for about a tenner - but if you can afford it I would recommend a more recent model with better picture and sound qualit, which on this phone leave something to be desired. However, it is reliable and easy to use.
