I received this phone for my 21st birthday present from my boyfriend when it first came out, this phone is great with a sophisticated with a elegant line! It's a little bit heavy I must say but minus that it is a great build, its very solid and because its made or high quality materials it has such a sleek appearance to it. I got this phone on contract couple of months back and I haven't had no regrets ever since. I call this phone my black beauty lol and all my friends laugh at me every time I say that. This is simply, a beautiful phone. It was released around the same time as the luxurious 8800 Sirocco, and it went to a midplace between the old 8800 and the Sirocco. The most striking thing about this phone, apart from the big big price tag, was the illuminating keypad, underneath the half-clear or smoky slide cover. It was indeed wonderful to see in the hand. A really cool reliable and versatile mobile phone. I like this 8600 luna phone,it was the upgrade I had when I recently traded in my N95. This phone can do everything except make the tea. Its slim and virtually scratchproof/resistant. Not the lightest phone ever made,but one of the sleekiest ones I have the pleasure of owning. Its features are near enough endless,from voice recording to an mp3 player.
