8800 - Redefining Luxury (Nokia 8800)
Member Name: k_dc2pm
Advantages: Wonderful Looks, Construction & Exclusivness Disadvantages: Everything else, it fails to catch up to the features of our average phones 8xxx series has always been, prestigious, of luxury and of course, exclusive. You won't see many people walking around with this phone. 8800 is now few years old, as 8800 Sirocco succeeded a year later, and now 8800 Arte. However, this phone still does have that 'timless design' looks. This phone is delicate, made of stainless steel and immaculate construction, it will fit perfectly in hand. Perhaps alittle too heavy, but manageable. The screen is small, display not so great, as it's even possible to see the pixels. But have no fear, this phone isn't about having the greatest features. The camera produces 600 x 800 pics, of below average quality. The keypad maybe difficult to use, as some keys go into the casing. But people will stare at you for having this phone, it will be noticed. Do not drop it, the stainless casing is prone to scratches, dents and scuffs. Not an everyday-ordinary phone for all. Summary: What are your priorities? Looks or Functions?
