The 8810 model is dressed in a glorious shiny metal case which has that silvery look. This is probably the best looking phone around. The phone is also tiny but that comes at a price-£250. The 8810 has a vibrate alerting system and a infrared modem as standard. The menu system is lovely and the keypad is very comprehensive yet very compact. There is a slider to protect the keypad but unfortunately for those who like to look cool it can only be used when answering calls. What I've said so far portrays this as a diamond but unfortunately there are problems. The internal antenna only provides mediocre reception in areas where the ... Read the complete review

A year ago when the nokia 8810 first came out people were lost for words at how technology had really changed. Being the first in a series of small phones, the 8810 had altered the production of phones to be! With its small size and stylish look this phone was one to have. However first retailing as an offline phone for about £350, it was not seen to be worth it. Nokia had at last made what the people wanted but couldn't get the price right. With features such as internet access and infra red (for two player gaming - snake) the phone stood out from all others in its range. As a start to a new revolution in mobile phones there soon was the ... Read the complete review

The 8810 is certainly one of the more stylish phones on the market. But, all good things come at a cost (not just money).... Well the price varies according to your tariff and contract but there really isn't a lot in it. Yes it is the phone that every respectable business man wants to be seen answering, and yes it will probably impress your colleagues but does it falter at the basics. Well the answer's yes, it has its problems, I won't bore you with all of them but only the major one. It's size, those people at nokia have almost got it so you can clench your fist around the phone and you wouldn't be able to see it. Well close but not ... Read the complete review

The Nokia 8810 is just too small for my liking. It may look flashy but when you actually think about it, it's not what it looks like; it’s what it does. For starters the keypad keys are awfully small. Too small infact. If you have huge fingers you will have allot of trouble using this phone and you will be highly disappointed. This phone is for people who do not need to use it that much and also for people who like wasting their hard earned money. The phone does have some good features though, like you can store five different ring tones and has more space in the address book. Also there are around 5 games including snake2! That is a great game, ... Read the complete review

This telephone in a 1998 has appeared in Finland. Nokia has manufactured, as then it seemed, most perspective model. Let's see: dimensions are 107*46*18 mm, weight is only 98 g (with the lithium battery). And today at all much for a device having a huge amount of possibilities. Absence of an antenna in customary understanding, original design, huge amount of innovations, such, for example, as infra-red port and organizer simply could not be not remarked. The telephone has made furor in the market of cellular communication. After the first delights in my soul "creep" first doubts. They came after a perusal of the publicity leaflet. For operating ...
