Advantages: qwerty keyboard, web browsing, screen, shape and size, useability, functions

Disadvantages: not as good screen nor web browsing as iphone. however better keyboard by far.

I've had the Nokia e71 for 6 months and think it is a fantastic phone, best I have owned. Features which I enjoy are the intuitive user interface with helpful screen icons and a simple yet effective central control button. The internet browsing is easy to use, fast (good wifi connection and 3G) and effective- however web pages do display better on an iphone for instance. The slim shape and slick design mean that even though it is not small it fits my pocket well without ruining the trousers I am wearing. The qwerty keyboard has a good feel to the buttons and even my fat sausage fingers can deal with typing (much more so than texting) accurately and fast and I think this is far easier than using the touch screen on an iphone. The large screen is good (not iphone quality display but good nonetheless) and the phone has a good speaker function, good camera / video functions and generally I cannot fault it.
