The all-singing, all-dancing E90 is the kind of phone/PDA that some people show off with. I had a more serious reason for buying one (on a deal with O2). My eyepatch isn't an affectation, having the optic neuritis associated with MS I was struggling to see ordinary phones' screens. I also wanted a keyboard so I could use e-mail quickly. My E90's doing most of what I want from it and so I can forgive its bulk and weight. The internal screen is brilliant, battery life is pretty good and I even use the camera on occasion. The Bluetooth and WIFi perfomance are also good and I've had no problems updating software and synchronising with my other phone and my ... Read the complete review

I m used all the forerunners of the e90. Me and my group were so curious about this sip phone and the new features like UMTS Internet but in the end I m not fully conviced of this product.
Compared to the Smartphone Nokia 9300 or the 9500 here are my majorratings regarding the differences:
+ Internet Browser: I was really impressed by the internet browser of this product: Nearly all pages could be opened even login areas, internet mail accounts and so on could be accessed with the "nokia" browser. Flash films: yes. You tube videos: failed. This is the first time one could really work with the internet but the Speed of the fastest UMTS cards is still 3 times faster
- usability is bad. you have to do 2 times more "clicks" to get in the menus
- system speed has not improved

The new E90 is the most over hyped peice of rubbish I've ever bought. I think there are so few bad reviews, as people are too embarrased to admit it is a stupid phone, trying to be something its not. I've waited 3 years for a decent qwerty business phone to come along. Believe me, this isn't it. I want to give it a Basil Fawlty thrashing and throw it as far away as possible. The keys are so small and not domed, so the only way you can use it is with you fingernails. It says it will copy my contacts from my old Nokia - it fails. It says downlaod software - its corrupt. It fails to look at lots of web sites - so what's it's point? I'm ... Read the complete review

Ive worked for a telecoms company for the last 5 years and the Nokia E90 communicator is the phone that everyone is talking about. The Communicator is the latest addition by Nokia based primarily for executive use, basically another business phone with lots of features thats most people will never use. I first got my hands on this phone last week and its still as big and bulky as you expect the communicator series to be, even in its closed position you would struggle to put this phone in your pocket! Apart from the size of this phone I am hard pushed to find anything else wrong with it. The screen size and full-fledged keyboard is second to none (not a qwerty ... Read the complete review
