The Nokia N70 is a 3G smart phone. The key pad has a five-way scroll key, two soft keys, an application key and a multi- media key.
The screen is a good size, but it does scratch easily. I bought a cover for my phone and this prevents scratches and also protects the phone should you drop it.

This phone has a 2 mega pixel camera, which makes the N70 a very powerful imagining device. It has a 20x digital zoom, and a choice of modes including portrait, scenery, sports and night. It also has an integrated flash which is very helpful. You have total control of your photographs as you are able to control the settings, brightness, colour tones and white balance, these are all there to help you take that perfect photo.

The camera is so easy to use, you just slide the shutter downwards and its ready for you to take that photo you would otherwise miss while searching around your bag for your camera. With the computer software you can also download all your photos to your computer so that you will always have them, ready to print.
The internal memory is 30Mb with an extra 64Mb MMC card. Connectivity is through Bluetooth or USB.

The phone has a full range of 3G features. Video calling, Video downloads, music downloads. A second VGA resolution camera is used for video calls. It is a really good multi - media phone.
The real player media has video playback in MPEG4 format; you can also use audio using several formats, MP3, AAC, real audio, WAV and Nokia ring tones.

If you are using your phone for work or on the move, you will be impressed by the Email feature it has, this allows you to send emails without the need of a computer, laptop or an internet connection. I was told when I bought mine that it was like a mini computer, and this is quite true. I also think as I'm not technically minded, I am not using this phone to its full potential. I have to ask my son how to do things and what different things mean, but I must stress, if I can use it then it must be easy to use!!!

The down side!!!!!
The things I don't like about my phone is, it shuts down and freezes a lot. This really does get on your nerves if you are in the middle of doing something. Also you have to re-boot it a lot. This is my 2nd Nokia N70. The 1st one wouldn't connect to he Bluetooth ear piece. This was a real pain, because you would get in your car and try to connect the ear piece, but after several attempts you would have to re-boot it….this was really time consuming and also got me very frustrated. Since I have changed my phone it is much better, but I still have times when the phone has to be rebooted as the ear piece still wont connect.
Also if you have big fingers or long finger nails, the key pad is quite hard to use. As I said I bought a cover for my phone, this also helps with using the keypad.

I would definitely recommend this phone to someone who was thinking of buying one. I have had several phones and I have found this to be the easiest to use. I hope this review has helped you to decide weather or not to buy the Nokia N70.

Iv got the model down from this and i keep getting simialr problems. my phone slows down after a couple of days until you reboot it and the camera shutter is forever sliding down and unlocking the phone..resulting in me calling people all the time accidentally! nice review

I've got this phone and have to say I do like it but find the keypad fiddly to use. Apart from that I've not had any problems with it

My bloke has one of these but he hasn't had any problems with it freezing on him. He loves it but I find it a little bit bulky for my little hands. I prefer my older 6220 although I am looking to upgrade soon to a 6230i as it is similar with a few more options. Belinda
