Advantages: Sleek, 12mp Camera, Good Memory, Rugged
Disadvantages: Poor Operating System, Interface Not That Friendly
The Nokia N8 almost certainly looks the part. With a 12mp camera, a sleek body design and its price, why wouldn't you want to buy it. The memory is decent, capable of storing many, many songs and photos. The interface is also quite modern and cool. There was, however a problem experienced with the layout of your apps. When you choose to add some shortcuts to certain applications on your home pages, you can only do so in groups of 4, which is rather irritating if you were looking for just the one app to put there. The phone itself though is quite sturdy, and after having fallen on the floor numerous amounts of time, it only has an indent on the corner and a scratch on the back as any record of those falls. I feel that while the phone strives to keep the Nokia name fresh and going, the phone ultimately disappoints itself with its rather dated Symbian OS, often lagging, working slowly or completely giving up and freezing the phone during moments like when you're playing a game and you receive a call.
Summary: Good phone for casual phone users, but not for those who expect top specs or performances from phone
