Advantages: Lots of features and easy to use
Disadvantages: Not so great sound quality - easily fixed
This is my favourite phone I have ever owned - in fact I liked it so much that when my contract ended I decided to keep it instead of getting a new phone! I've had it for 2 years now (with one replacement along the way - my fault, I dropped it and the top button cracked) and have no intention of upgrading anytime soon!
Looks:
OK, so it's not the prettiest phone. It's kind of "bricky" looking, quite bulky - a million miles from some of the sleek phones that are out now. However, it has a nice large screen and is not hideous so it's worth the style sacrifice as they pack a lot into the (relatively) small package!
Performance:
This phone has everything I need - huge 8gb memory stores loads of music, photos, videos and games! I have about 1700 songs on it, countless photos, and a good few videos and games and the memory isn't even full!
The 2 megapixel camera takes decent quality pictures, and there is a good flash too. Sometimes the pictures come out a little grainy, but the majority of the time they are very clear and could be printed to photo size (2 megapixels should be enough for this size). I think the lighting has a lot to do with the quality.
My favourite feature though is the mp3 player. It's easy to transfer music on and off the device - I have never had problems connecting it to either of my PCs, and simply use Windows Media Player to sync it to. It stores your music in the way an Ipod would, so you can select to play music by genre, artist, album, etc. The sound quality from the phone alone isn't great, it's a little "tinny" but I believe this to be a problem with all mobile phone speakers. It's not so much a problem though as a decent pair of speakers or headphones with a standard 35mm jack will run through it no problem. If you have an AUX output on you CD player or car stereo you can run the music through that too with an AUX lead.
Finally, the battery life is also very good - I tend to charge my phone every 4/5 days but I never turn it off and am always on the thing whether I'm making calls, sending texts, listening to music, or messing about with my calendar!
All round winner I would say!
Summary: Can't go wrong with this phone!
