N82 - Fantastic - No rivals even close to it yet! (Nokia N82)

Advantages: Excellent camera with xenon flash, built in GPS, Plenty of memory makes it quick! Disadvantages: Screen could be larger, Casing creaks. I change my phone every year, sometimes twice a year. But after 12 months there is still no replacement worth having for my N82. When I take this phone out, I rarely bother to take a separate digital camera. It really is that good at taking photos. The xenon flash, and geo-tagging (location stamp) are excellent and work seamlessly. That awful white aura that phones with LED flashes tend to produce is for me, a distant memory of phones long since buried at the back of a drawer. The N82 doesn't stop at pictures, for music, slide in a 16GB micro SD and you have an instant ipod rival. Want to listen to the radio, no problem. The sound quality even with the included headphones isn't bad. But pop in a pair of decent Sennheisers or equivalent, and the sound is fantastic. For business use, the phone performs brilliantly; never slow, even with multiple apps running. My only criticism of this fabulous handset is the casing which tends to be a little creaky, when pressing buttons. Summary: The best phone I have used in over ten years. So good it has pretty much replaced my digital camera
