Advantages: The brilliant 5mp camera
Disadvantages: Bulky appearance, sliding feature can be annoying
I chose this phone as my upgrade model and despite it's bulky appearance it's a very handy phone.
The sliding function is good as it allows for a larger screen without the key pad forcing it to be made smaller, although a downside to this is when you put it in your pocket, because the slider moves both ways it can be incredibly frustrating.
The camera is one of the main features that drew me to this phone, I've always found Nokias to be easy to work and have tried to stick with them for ease of use, and the 5mp camera is a big plus point, although the fact that the sliding lens cover can also open whilst in your pocket can be another rather annoying factor.
The features on the phone are very good, from mp3 player to the Real Player video playing system, all things that now we come to expect from a phone but are top of the range as far as handheld devices come.
The keypad is easy to navigate and in general the phone is very easy to use, having had the phone for about 7 months now I still believe the camera to be it's best feature and certainly wouldn't recommend it to anybody who doesn't like bulky looking phones.
Summary: Good, solid phone for those who don't expect too much

- 25/06/09 Thanks very much for the welcome.
Sorry for the lack of information, the battery life is actually rather poor, I'd say with average use for the majority of mobile phone users (say 5-10 texts per day and phone calls for about 20-25 minutes) I generally get 2 days use and then it needs a good charge.
Textin g wise it's very simple and very basic, being able to chose font size is a good feature. |
