Advantages: It does everything well, 5MP camera, GPS, N-Gage works great, Wi-Fi, 8GB of memory

Disadvantages: Bad location of GPS receiver, Wi-fi not as slick as iPhone, Battery could be better, Unreliable

Being a big fan of the Nokia N-Series myself, the N95 8GB was something I was very eager to get my hands on.
Chunky in thickness yet reasonably sized height and length wise, the handset itself feels solid and weighted in your hand, the second you turn it on you can just feel that this device can do a hell of a lot. And that's just the start of it.

I could go on forever about the basic 'phoney' features: calls, messaging etc... that I'll suffice in saying that not only does it execute these basic functions well, but you get lots of added functionality that's easily missed, things you'll probably never use, but they're there if you ever need them. (I've made the only conference call in my life on this phone.)

Now on to the stuff that really sells this phone. It's incredible looking at the thing to even start to think of all the functionality it holds. You've got an 8GB media player (that's the biggest capacity iPod Nano), a 5MP camera with VGA video recording and a GPS receiver to boot. Oh, and not to mention great web access and the best games a phone has ever seen.

[In depth look at features coming shortly]

In conclusion: Get It. IF you'll actually use the features. You fancy having a high end flashy phone but only end-up calling and texting? Get an LG or an iPhone. But if you not only want but need a mobile computer in your pocket, if you want to have web access, games, a video camera and a sat nav wherever you go, then get this. The Nokia N95 8GB doesn't do that half-hearted 'on a mobile' attempt at these things, it sets the standards.

Summary: With all of it's power and functionality countered by some minor flaws, there's no reason not to...
