Advantages: Fantastic camera and movie editor
Disadvantages: Far too complicated
As a self confessed gadget queen I loved the Nokia N95 when it first arrived and felt like I couldn't put it down.
It is now only after a very long trial run that I have come to see the major flaws in the phone.
Basically I feel like it is just far too complicated. I chose this particular phone due to the sat nav/gps on it but to be honest found that if you are not worrying about how much the network is going to charge you due to you have to download information onto the phone and if you even try to make head or tail out of the huge book that they call the instruction book, you just end up even more baffled that before!!!!
On the plus side the photographic element of the phone is good but if you are just using the phones memory and like me like to use the video function and send through multimedia again this is not good as the memory does seem quite small.
I have also very unfortunately had to return the phone due to a fault that I have been advised is a common fault with this phone, basically all my messages that I try to send all fail so once again my phone is back in for repair and to be quite frank I do hope they send me a different one
Summary: Overall I found this phone to have uneccessary features that were far too complicated

- 12/08/08 Nicely written but I think this review could be better - especially if you are willing to tell us how this works as a phone. |
