Advantages: Feature packed quality phone

Disadvantages: Battery Life could be better

The Nokia N95 isn't just a phone - its a great little gadget!

As someone who has been using Motorola phones for a few years it took me a little while to get used to using a Nokia again, but I was soon in the swing of things.

What I love about this phone is the interface - its similar to Windows and is easy to access the various features of the phone.

The phonebook has a nice touch - you can add photos of your friends beside their details and is easy to access.

Texting is straightforward although I have had difficulty in sending a picture message with text included in the one message.

Pictures on this camera are just amazing. The camera is 5 megapixels and the quality is similar to most regular digital cameras you get now. You can also make videos on it and these have been of an excellent quality too.

You can have Sat Nav on this phone if you wish to pay an extra charge. No use for me but could be invaluable to others.

The phone also acts as a radio and an MP3 player. I purchased a 4GB micro SD card to hold plenty of music and images and newer models have 8GB of storage built in, which is excellent.

You can also surf the internet on this phone, which is invaluable when you are on the move. You can access pages on the phone itself or you can connect it to your laptop and use it as a modem. This is probably my favourite feature of this phone.

The phone is thicker than some less feature packed mobile phones but still looks stylish to me.

Making a call is very straightforward, particularly if using a contact in your phone book and the sound quality is very good. I do find texting a little more of a chore because the keys on the keypad seem very small to me.

My only gripe would be that the battery life can be poor - it really needs to be charged every evening, especially if you have spent the day listening to a lot of music or surfing the internet.

All in all however this is a great phone and one which has put Nokia back on my radar for mobile phones after several years in the wildnerness - I recommend it.

Summary: Not just a phone - its a major gadget!

Nice review, not to techy but a real user insight.

Nicely written but how about how this works as a phone?
