Advantages: great camera, lots of features..plenty of memory space
Disadvantages: satnav sometimes loses signal and the battery goes down quick.
I have a silver Nokia N95 normal memory and I think it's great!
The Nokia N95 is easy to text with and a good quality sound when on the phone. It has many great features one of which is the "Satnav" GPS system. I have to admit I found it a bit tricky to set up when I first got the phone and left it a while before I actually set it up proparly. It found the maps and adresses easy and I was able to plan my route with no problems, it was just when I had to find a GPS starting point from where I live that it didn't find it straight away and had problems connecting with the internet but once I was familiar with the system it soon became easier and now I can use it wherever..whenever!
The phone has a 5 megapixel camera which I have to admit is very impressive, I went to Scotland in the summer and got some great pictures of the landscapes, it does a real good close up shot too for example; I was selling a top on ebay which had some very intriquite detailed fabric and I set the camera to close up mode and the detail it showed was amazing. The camera also takes good video's but I did find that when it was slightly darker in the evenings the footage was a purpley colour even on night mode it couldn't quite make out certain objects.
The phone also has features like:- television (although this can freeze when the signal isn't very good), video radio, video centre, good quality internet and many more. One thing which I found quite "cool" was the voice commands. All you do is record your voice saying something like "call dad" or something and associate it with the contacts name, and then when you want to call that person all you have to do is say there name and it calls them without you even having to press a button.
The memory is good too mine isn't an 8gb but still holds a lot, on my N95 I have about 80 songs and a few films and lots of pictures and I've still got a fair amount of memory free.
I have to admit though as great as the phone is the battery doesn't last long and I charge it nearly every day, but what brings my battery down I think is the fact that I'm always on the internet and most of the time it's on silent and vibrate; also because I've got quite a lot of stuff on it.
I really think the Nokia N95 is an excellent phone and I know I'll be keeping it for quite a while longer.
Summary: Great phone and well worth the money!

- 04/03/09 Actually I forgot to mention about that, I have to charge phone every other day the battery goes down quick but I think it's just because of all the stuff it's got on it. |
