Advantages: Brilliant camera, video
Disadvantages: Web browser is now pretty dated
This is a great phone, I've had it for a about 3 years and only now is it starting to date. I've had no problems with it and have made full use out of all its features.
Overall it looks good and feels good in the hand although it is a little on the fat side to fit in an evening bag. The 5mp camera on it is brilliant and I'm constantly taking snaps and videos on it. It is especially good at close up shots with it macro mode. Also the main camera has slide shut lens cover on it which is brilliant as the N80 its prototype did not. The front camera is OK but to be honest I hardly ever use it as video calling never really did take off for me.
The memory card slot is great and I got an 8gb for mine which has speeded up the whole phone when using its features. The sound quality is brilliant when listening to MP3s and it has a good loud speaker too. I've downloaded quite a few aps for it from the OVi store; mostly games which have been good and it only takes a min to downland to it.
As I said it has started to date recently and this shows mainly through its internet browser. It used to be pretty fast on WAP but not it starts to say memory full after browsing a few pages so you have to exit the internet and reload it which can be a bit annoying if you want to read the news whilst travelling. (deleting cookies and history has made no difference) It is not capable of looking at normal web pages either like other smart phones can.
Oh and also there are no emoticons on it or smilies which at first i was pretty disappointed in but once you get the hang of using its in built photo and video editor you can create special Txts this way for B'day etc.
I would definitely recommend this mobile as a phone, as a camera and as a mp3 player/personal radio but not for emailing accessing the web etc.. also I have not been able to get the wi-fi to work on it since I got it. But the blue tooth, infra red has been fine.
For a camera phone it still beats most new ones out on the market esp with the video quality.
