Advantages: Loads of features big memory
Disadvantages: Crashes all the time
I got the N97 from Play.com at just under £500.
The phone looked very sleek and had a great design.
I have had this phone 2 months now, so I've learnt about it, found out all the features and the not so good bits about it.
Looks: The phone looks great with its filling touch screen and in either black or white.
The phone does however look a bit chunky and when I looked at my old 6300 the other day that seamed to look a lot better being smaller.
Feel: The phone had a nice feel to it, but it is a lot better if you have bigger hands to hold and control it.
Features: The phone is packed with them, from FM transmitter to Wi-Fi.
The running of the phone: This can be a pain sometime to even read messages or answer calls, as it crashes very easily. The phone can cope with multipul applications at one time, but sometimes throws error messages up and totally goes ker-put.
The N97 includes: FM transmitter, 32GB hardrive, full touch screen, flip out qwerty key board, 5mp camera, secondary camera, camera flash, Wi-Fi, Facebook app, Maps.
The maps on the mobile were great, then they were updated, and now I have to be online to look at most areas. So I think that updates are not always a good thing.
This phone is great, but I think the little problems and snags need to be fixed first, by which time I think the price would have gone down a bit as well.
Summary: Great mobile, but don't buy it yet

- 20/09/09 The 'N9-' series have been plagued with issues from the outset. I am glad I went with the 6303 classic instead! |
