I don't recommend this phone, it needs a lot of improvement! (Nokia N97)

Advantages: improving, good appearance..

Disadvantages: needs alot of improvement! Lags alot, slow when alot of apps are running!Crashes, memory low!

This phone can get pretty tedious and annoying sometimes.
I got this phone right at the beginning when it was realeased so i sufferd alot of problems it lagged alot!and it was very slow!

The phone memory kept on saying the phone memory was full..I had to reset the phone back to its factory settings about 2/3 times. Thankfully now there are alot of forums around discussing about this phone, and the problems and bugs it has, and they tell you the solution in how to restore or prevent things from happening!

However I have to admit in these past 2 months this phone has improved dramatically..I no longer encountered the Full memory problem and every so often there are new Nokia Updates. I have grown to like this phone alot more now!

The appearance of the phone is very sleek and smart...the battery live is not bad, it lasts atleast one to two days depending on what you do..E.G if you surf/browse and use maps alot it would probably last approx. a day!but it still good seen as ive had mine for almost 3 months now and its still good life!

It has a little grey botton that takes you directly back to menu very handy.
It allows you to run several different apps at once, very talented!
The apps for this phone are ok and they are improving too, google map sometimes doesnt work which can be annoying and the nokia map tends to be very slow too.

The phone has to have full reception to beable to work at its full potential which is a bit of a waste, seen as its such a expensive phone!

Overall, the phone has improved a lot and needs to be improved more too, and im sure this will happen as days go by which is great!but i would not recommend it, as nokia will be releasing N900 soon which is a more updated version and there will also be a mini version of n97 too. I do regret buying the first smart phone of Nokia's ..If i had a choice again i probably would go for a HTC phone or the Iphone 3GS. The N97 is quite disappointing as a Smart phone, but i have to give credit to its looks (the build isnt as fragile as it looks in photos, its pretty solid and reliable, and the Qwerty keyboard does make a difference-much easier texting) !

Summary: There are many more smartphone releasing soon this phone really isnt worth the money
