O2 XDA Ignito, is the O2 network version of the HTC Touch Diamond. I had the luxury (?) of trying both of these HTC products out, and I was left with a mix of emotions.

O2 XDA Ignito runs on the notorious Windows Mobile 6.1, with its powerful (?) and yet useless 500+Mhz processor. Yes, you would have thought with such a processor (it was just 10 years ago that 500Mhz computers were being sold 500+pounds) would run any OS smoothly. Oh hold that thought, because you're very mistaken.

I've mentioned this a few times in other reviews of phones running Windows, but I cannot stress enough that the processor isn't good enough to run it. May as well get a cheap low end NOkia, would run S40 faster than this O2 machine. Ah well, there it is, this is the main problem.

The Touch Flo is something of an extrordinaire. It's fun and exciting, the screen is immaculately brilliant - the resolution is indeed stunning (480 by 640). For a very compact touchscreen phone it packs everything (or nearly so) - 4GB of memory (enough for some people), GPS, touch-sensitivie navigation pad, accelormeter, pocket office, nice Mp3 player and my favourite, 3.2MP camera. The 3.2MP part doesn't really astonish but wait till you take pics with this phone, it beats most of the Nokia 3.2mps and some better than Sony Ericsson camera phones.

This still keeps its price, for some reason I'm not sure, as another huge problem is the touch-screen, which isn't as responsive or sensitive as users like, also due to its touch Flo & windows mobile OS. make sure you playu with this for a long time before you purchase it.

Summary: A pity, this phone could have been such a good seller
