I bought a Panasonic G520 mobile phone in december last year and considered it a very good buy at the time. It was advertised for £80 in the Vodafone shop but, after giving them the old 'poor student routine', they knocked £30 off it. It is a basic phone but does include some nice features such as vibration mode and has sensible ring tones, unlike many phones of this standard that only have irritating, robot-like melodies. It has a limited but just about adequate range of features, including all the standard functions such as phone book, messages, security etc. The signal is always good, as is the reception during calls, but these are about the only redeeming ... ok its panasonic which besically sells itself, but you hav to admit after a while you kinda realise that , well its too long why panasonic made it so long is oblivious to me , but they did, + for a phone so big compared to the nokia8210 , it shoukd have at least 1 game , but it doesnt, good make but is boring. oh and another thing, when you buy a phone you want a range of tunes, yeh, how many do you get with it! 6 , 6 tunes wow, that must have really stretched there imagimnation when they made it. um what else is crap, oh yeh the battery bar telling you how much life is left in it , that needs some work, you start of with full battery which lasts most of the day ... It vibrates, it doesn't have 10 million annoying tunes, it's reasoanbly small, compact, but has a nice large screen to read messages on. Most of all it works. No frills, but no fiddly bits. It saves all your messages, incoming and outgoing, so you can repeat the same message to a set of people if you desire. Best of all it vibrates. There's nothing better than having a silent mode on a phone, so I don't have to sound like a pratt when it goes off. I can carry the phone anywhere, and if it rings when I want to ignore it, the whole world doesn't have to know. The only down sides I've found is lack of an IR link and there's ... I recently got this phone on Pay as you go and i must so it's a real bargain! It is easy to use and vibrtaes so you do not have to be disturbed when in public or at a meeting. It is also quite lightweight and seems to be able to be sturdy enough to take a few knocks without getting damaged. It's a shame that it doesn't have very many ringtones but the vibration function more than makes up for that. ... Read the complete review

This is my first ever phone and i love it's avalible in 3 different colours blue, silver and black, the good thing about this phone is that it has a vibrating battery which is handy for work, school or college. it doesn't have very good ringing tones which makes this phone seem more business type. The best thing i like about this phone is the vibrating battery, the message recieved alert and the call waiting. the thing i dont like are the ringing tones. so if u want a vibrating phone that you can take anywhere without it ringing or a phone with no annoying ringing tones then this is the phone to get. ...
