Panasonic GD 93

I have had my Panasonic GD93 for exactly four months today, having received it as a birthday present in May. For that time I have twinned the GD93 with a contract with BT Cellnet. Although details about Cellnet may impinge on the review, this is an opinion about the phone, and not BT’s mobile services. Did anyone else notice that this phone bears a striking resemblance to the one that Ian Beale from ‘eastenders’ uses to conduct his shoddy property scams. I’m not so sure, after all what would an East end barrow boy be doing with a state of the art WAP phone like the GD93, eh? Let’s face it, the blokes got no taste what so ever and even grew a rubbish ‘tache a little while back to illustrate the fact. I bought this phone on a BT Cellnet contract in November 2000. Since February the WAP function has failed to work because BT Cellnet no longer support the phone as it has failed their tests. Funny that they didn't tell The Link where they are still selling them as web phones!!! However, if you are using the phone on another provider - here's my views... It looks great! The coloured backlights are very funky (especially orange which makes it look very retro-funky). Its very light.
