Everyone has one now - mobiles have sweeped the country and suddenly before you know it, your teenager wants one!! Obviously at some point you will probably get one, but your mind is running with worries:- * What if I fork out a lot of money for something that will just be broken? * Well I don't want a contract phone as I'm sure ... I have got rid of my old C12, but spent a long time using it and still see them on sale every now and again. When I got my phone it was free for signing up for a credit card, but they tend to cost about £40 when you see them. They tend to be on fairly cheap tarrifs - for example I used to pay 5 pence per text message on my pay as you go ... Read the complete review

I was a very proud owner of the Philips C12 on the Bt Cellnet pay and go network. I bought the phone for £49.99, which was very good, value for money as the only phones at these prices were bigger, heavier and had very poor battery life compared to the C12. Network Availability. The C12 is only available on Bt Cellnet and Orange ... Read the complete review

One of the first ever mobile phone's that I got was a Philips C12. I enventually sold it to a friend at work as I wanted a more up to date phone. I now have a nokia 3310. The phone is black, and is not popular now, but it is an ok phone though. It's quite a big phone compared to mobile's these days.. There is ... Read the complete review

Well after having my phone since Christmas this year i thought i had better write a review on it. The phone is the Cellnet U design and in the bright yellow colour, always cheers you up even on the rainy day! The phone also comes in Green and Black. You can purchase new covers for it, at resonable prices - the cheapset i have found was £6 - It ... Read the complete review

Actually it’s not all that large, but you know what us lads are like. I’ve been going out with my Phillips C12 for nearly a year now, so decided it was time to review our relationship. It was cheap and cheerful when I got it, and with connection to BT cellnet the charges aren’t too bad either (12p for a text ... Read the complete review

Phillips Savy C12 I have had this phone for about two years now, and so I think I qualify to write an opinion on how good or bad it is. I have actually bought a new phone since the original purchase of my Philips, but I stayed with the same phone, mainly because it is so cheap! The battery is standard, basically nothing ... This mobile phone by Philips is a long way from the very latest mobile's with such things as WAP, customised ring tones and quality picture messaging to name a few. However this is not what it’s all about. For the relative cheap price of this older mobile, you do get a reliable and useful piece of equipment. It is fairly stylish, an ... Read the complete review

Like the title!? ~ Well thats me, I think I'm the only 14 yr old girl in the whole nation who hasn't got her own mobile phone!!! I mean, I'd like a phone but with parents who don't think its neccessary and myself with no money, I guess I'm just going to keep on saving! Hopefully this opinion will put a few bob my way ... I have had my Philips phone for nearly two years now and it is still as good as new. It is my third handset though as in the first year I had lots of problems with faulty handsets. I will not rant on about how bad my experiences have been with the Philips phone as it is mainly due to BT Cellnet and not Philips. If you wish to know more about my ... Read the complete review

My opinion : My opinion on the Philips c12 is ..... Well I’m not sure. It has good qualities and bad qualities. It is an older phone so it has no Internet, screensaver or logo but it has very good deals and call time. (Only with BT cellnet ). What it has: As I said, it is an older phone so it ... This is a nice phone. I used to have one personally and have few complaints about it. It has a good amount of standby and talktime, especially for me (lots of standby) and the charge is good. Many slightly older phones require you to remove the battery to charge it up, which wears your battery cover out. But this phone you just plug in and your ... Read the complete review

As there has been a rapid increase in the amount of mobile phones and computer technology, mobile phones go out of date so fast. The Philips C12 is a phone that has been around for quite a while now. However it continues to be a good phone and one of the best for text messaging. The phone has a 90 name and number memory, an alarm clock, ... Read the complete review

If you can't choose the right phone I recommend the Philips BT Celnet. I brought the phone last year when it was the top phone out. OK now it might be old hack to some people but I still like it. It’s neither let me down and the battery seems to go on and on. I can charge it up over night and it will last me all week. ... Read the complete review

I have had two of these phones. They are pretty good. The philips C12 is a good budget phone and whilst it does not boast all the features of Nokia phones and modern models, it is still pretty good. The first C12 I had only lasted a few months. It fell out of my pocket in the car and got trapped under the seat when it swung back and the ... Read the complete review

I started off with a BT Cellnet version of the C12, which suited me as my mum bought it for me and I used the one free number quite a lot. I also liked the fact that at the time, it was the lightest phone around. I soon felt like a change though, and shopped around for a new phone. I soon found out that the cheapest phone for me was the U version ... Read the complete review

Have you got a U phone from BTCellnet? You probably know that the only 5p/min call is to an other U phone, right? Well you're wrong! I bought my U phone in october 2000 and at the time it was the phone I needed. All I wanted to use my phone for was to receive calls. And with vouchers lasting up to 4 months (very good at the time, ... Read the complete review

I have had a Philips C12 and when I first got it, I thought that it wasn’t such a bad phone, apart from a few network problems. I liked the Accessories it had on it, such as a Bio Calendar and a Calculator etc. But I did encounter a few problems. Firstly, one thing I noticed which was pretty annoying is that they seem to sometimes ... Read the complete review

This was my first phone that I bought on pay and go.It was quite cheap at the time and easy to get hold of.It was on the best friend tarrif;which meant you could nominate one number which you could call for free. This I felt was a good idea.
