Advantages: Colour screen, Small & Light Weight, Packed with features

Disadvantages: cant buy Accesories on the high street, No web downloads avalible, have to buy a USB cable or bluetooth products to get photocall to work which could cost as much or more than the phone

The Philips Fisio 825 mobile phone has a lot of good advantages to it and it also has some bad.
The advantages, Well its small, light weight, 4096 colour screen, GPRS,Packed with features. Polyphonic ringtones and See who is calling picture display (Through saved picture on the phone) . When you buy one you get a mobile phone tools program for your computer on a CD.

Disadvantages. The light on the phone uses the battery life up fast. you will have to purchase a USB cable or bluetooth Gadget to download picture to your phone. Which can cost from 39.99 upwards. Like me if you dont have a USB card on your computer you will have to buy one if you want to buy the cable. Bluetooth flash cards start at 49.99 upwards. You will still need a USB port though unless your looking at a PC card or modem. Now your looking towards a hundred pound or more. The accesories for the phone are not avalible in the shops. The Orange Shop may stock Some basics eg phone case, Chargers that sort of thing otherwise you will have to contact PHILIPS DIRECT for accesories. But know body seems to know the number! The only way to get the number is through directory enquiries. You also cant find anything to download from the WEB for this phone. There are plenty of reviews but thats it. There just is no site. I e-mailed Philips U.K to see if they knew of a site official or otherwise and i am still waiting for the answer. The Link at Christmas started selling these Phones with a Virgin Sim Card for 129.99, However this phone and sim have been put together for a link deal and it is not a official Virgin Phone. So if you find you are having difficulty with this phone Virgin although they try Know diddly squat about it. i bought mine for 109.00 they are now 89.99.
Mine lasted three months then something went wrong with it. So I sent it for repair.They said it should take upto ten days to fix. Then they said they would replace the handset so they would have to get one from france which cou

ld take upto a month to sort out.
These phones are nice looking, a good size and great as a phone. Even including a 30 second voice recorder and voice recognision which i think is good. It is great as a phone but if you bought it so you could use the Foto call "see who is calling photos" then you could happily pay as much as the phone to get it to work. Not a bad price for a colour screen phone, Not a bad phone would be a lot better if when you bought it it came with leads etc so you pay one price and dont go searching to find the rest!
